Harvest email addresses with metasploit

Tutorial on how to harvest email addresses with metasploit.

1)First thing to do is open a msfconsole and type

search gather

2) Type

use gather/search_email_collector

3) Now you need to set the domain you can use what you want eg gmail.com, yahoo.com, l33thackers.com for this tutorial we will use gmail.com

set domain gmail.com

then

run

Now you should have a list of email addreses its as simple as that.


Did a search for l33thackers.com and it come up with 1 email, must be the old domain owner.

Forgot to add you can also output to a txt file to make a list use this before or after "set domain"

set outfile /root/list.txt

This will ouput file to desktop.
